Delaware Trout Association

The Delaware Trout Association (DTA) has been around for 50 years.  DTA was founded by senior members many of whom since passed away.

The purpose of DTA is to promote trout fishing in Delaware and also provide an annual forum that helps special needs children and adults fish for trout in Brandywine Springs State Park each year.  Saturday, April 25th is the event date for this year. This event hosts about 150-200 participants each year and is sponsored by the State of Delaware Dept of Fisheries, Delaware State Parks and DTA.

DTA raises money each year to have a special private stocking of trophy trout for members only. Membership is $35.00 a year, $50.00 for families.

Money is raised by button sales, raffles and dues.  All proceeds go to the derby and stocking each year.

DTA is a registered non-profit club, all donations are tax deductible.

We are active in the preservation and cleanup of the Delaware parks and streams.  We participate in events towards this and encourage our members to do this also.

We are always looking for new members. Contact us anytime for details.
